International College visits Naresuan University Faculty of Humanities and established multiple exchange opportunities

Executing the Ministry of Education’s New South Bound Policy, Associate Professor Richard Ho, Associate Dean of International College, together with Ms Yvonne Lee, Director of Chinese Language Center, visited Thailand Naresuan University on 23 Jan and was warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Watana Padgate, Dean of Faculty of Humanities.

 

Located in Phitsanulok, Naresuan University was established in 1964 and constantly ranking within the top ten universities in Thailand. The university was named after the 16th century Phitsanulok-born King Naresuan the Great. Naresuan University Faculty of Humanities consists of the departments of Western Languages, Eastern Languages, Language and Folklore, as well as Fine and Applied Arts, offering degrees in Thai, English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Western Music and Performing Arts.

 

Tzu Chi University and Mahidol University inked the status of partner universities in 2014. The visit further strengthen the ties between the two universities by agreeing to mutually exchange two academic staffs, five academic students, and ten to twenty internship students annually.
